You can get a manaphy in different ways besides Pokemon ranger, all of them being action replay or gameshark. (getting a ar is better than buying Pokemon Ranger because it's cheaper and you can get a lot more out of it ;)) the first method is to enter in the manaphy event code in (ar code section)or enter in the complete pokedex code (ar section) this verifies that you have seen all Pokemon and this helps you when you use GTS ;)

The only way to see manaphy is with ranger, I believe you receive it in solaceon after trading it from game

Your wrong Swift. You can also get it throguh the Action Replay but Pokemon Ranger gives ya the legit one.
