1. You get the National Dex once you've seen all 150 Pokemon of Sinnoh [all the Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex].
2. You have to go to the top of Mt. Coronet. Bring a bunch of max repel, at least 40 dusk balls, some max potions and revives, and Pokemon that know: HM03 Surf, HM04 Strength, HM05 Defog, HM06 Rock Smash, and HM08 Rock Climb. Going through Mt. Coronet is really not all that hard. People just make a big deal out of it. Fly to Oreburgh Town, and go north, up the rock slide, and then east and go in the Mt. Coronet entrance from there. Go across the water using surf, and then up the rocks using rock climb. From here, go as north as you can. Now, along the sidelines of Mt. Coronet, there are 2 caves to go in. One of them will be a dead end. The other one is the right one to go in. If you go in one and it's a dead end, then look around for the second cave to go in. After you maneuver through the right cave, you'll end up on another mountainside. This is a little tricky, and most people are confused when they meet a guy that says they have no pokemon. Uh, dur, it's the wrong cave! So, once you find the right one, ALL THE WAY west of this mountainside, just follow the one-way path to get to the top, battling a few grunts here and there. Once you get to the top, make sure you have 40 dusk balls, and few max potions and full restores, if possible. Make sure you have a couple revives, too. And heal your team up, if possible. Now, SAVE YOUR GAME! Do the following when it is night in your game.
*WHEN IT IS NIGHT*
Battle the two grunts, and then afterwards, heal your team again. Now, battle the two commanders with your rival, and your rival'll heal your team up by himself. Now, battle Cyrus with all you got, and after the little clip, SAVE YOUR GAME right away. Now, go up and battle Dialga. When his health is in the red zone, and if possible, either asleep or paralyzed, start throwing dusk balls. You should eventually catch him. Great, now you have access to Sunnyshore City, and the eighth badge.
3. Uh, you do not need waterfall because you can only have 7 badges, and waterfall requires the eighth badge which you cannot have yet, following the storyline.
4. By doing #2.
5. You run into shiny Pokemon in the wild every 1/7000 times or something. They're very rare to come across.
Uhh, yeah, if you follow the storyline and pay attention to what people said, like a lot of grunts and even Cyrus said their plans about going to the top of Mt. Coronet, then you wouldn't need to ask this question.
I really wish people would pay attention to what happens in the game. Then again, if people did, then the only questions on this site would be about cheats... Sad, but true.
1. To get the National Dex, you must SEE all 150 of Shinnohs Pokemon. Then Talk to Professor Rowan. You will likely not complete this until after the E4.
2. Head to Spear Pillar. You must have Rock Climb to get to the pathway. The path is mostly straight forward, just follow the grunts and bring plenty of healing items and Ultra balls. Dusk balls too if you play at night.
3. No. You don't get Waterfall until after the 8th Gym.
4. You must stop Team Galactic at Spear Pillar FIRST. After you complete what is up there, the guy blocking the path to the city with the blackout will be gone. Head to Sunyshore City. Flint will talk to you when you enters town. (He is the guy with the red afro. You will battle him in the E4.) Head for the lighthouse and talk to the Blond in blue. He is the Gym leader. He will return to the Gym. Head to the Gym and it should be self explanatory from there.
5. There is only a 1 in 7000 chance you will see one. They are completely random. You have to be lucky.
(1)You get national dex by seeing all 151 Pokemon,(2) after freeing azelf uxie and mesprit got to Mt.coronet peak,(3) Mt. Coronet peak, catch/faint dialga (4) shiny Pokemon are very, very rare and unique, just pray to god you get one.
