I recently bought an action replay for the nintendo DS and I intended to use it for Pokemon Diamond. The cheats work, but today, I tried to connect it to my computer. I installed the program that came with it and also installed the hardware so my computer recognized the Action Replay. The problem is, The code manager software continuously says, " waiting for DS." I am sure my DS is on and is on the right screen. The only time that it stop saying waiting for DS is when I take the action replay out. This is when it begins loading, and then it crashes.I know that it is not meant to be used out of the DS so I am wondering why it wont recognize the DS.

It might be the program itself. The program might have been corrupted when it was in the store. Or you need to keep the DS hooked up longer. If you were on the screen with the long pink/red bar on the touch screen and a text box on the upper hand screen, there's definately a problem. Another reason for it acting this way would be the action reply. I have two of them and one of them being fried. The way you can tell it's fried is when the gold pannels where the cartrige is read has dark brown strips. This is all I can come up with. I hope I helped.
