Mr. Kyogre answered:

You need at least six Pokemon in your pc in your old game to migrate to the Pal Park.

Dr. Lucario answered:

You put in Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Leaf Green, or Fire Red into your dual slot.

When you turn on your Diamond game on, the beggining the beggining menu should say "Migrate from Emerald/Ruby/etc." Choose that option. Then you choose six Pokemon from the GBA game's box. If you are doing it on Emerald I recommend you do the cloning cheat first.

ChaosBug7 answered:

You first need to have a GBA gen Pokemon game. (Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald.) Stick it in the Dual slot and start Diamond. Before you start the game, there is an option to migrate Pokemon. Go there and choose 6 Pokemon from your boxes. Be careful what you pick, because you GBA games will not get him back. Make sure they don't know any HMs ,or it won't work. You can only Migrate 6 Pokemon at a time and only once per day per cartrage. Then catch the Pokemon at pal park. Your balls will have a 100% catch rate and nothing will change on them. You will find them based on where they will live in the envirornment.

Judicator328 answered:

You have to send over 6 Pokemon at once from any GBA game. (Ruby, sappire, emerald, fire red, or leaf green)

speedy324 answered:

You have 2 have at least 6 Pokemon in the pc.

MarioHSF answered:

You need to have any six Pokemon you want to migrate. Only one won't do, because you'll play a catching game where you are timed on getting your six Pokemon in a special ball (you don't have to use more than one for one pokemon).
Too bad you can't do less...

v-gamer answered:

First, you need to insert a GBA Pokemon game in the DS. They are Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and Leafgreen. Once you've done that, play Pokemon Diamond and at the start screen, where you would select "Continue", "New Game", "Options", and "Mystery Gift", a new option called "Migrate from _____" will appear between "Options" and "Mystery Gift". Select that option, and once you've done that, you're required to choose 6 Pokemon in the PC in your GBA Pokemon game. Those are the 6 Pokemon you are going to migrate to Diamond, so remember; YOU WILL NOT GET ANY OF THEM BACK. Choose wisely.

I know you only asked how to migrate Pokemon, but I'm sure you're going to get stuck in Pal Park. Not like there's a time limit, that I'm aware of...

Now, the game will re-start once you've selected the 6 pokemon. Play your Pokemon Diamond game normally, this time ignoring the "Migrate from _____" option, and go to Pal Park at the end of Route 221. Talk to the guy and he'll let you enter, giving you 6 more-or-less Master Balls [they're Park Balls that have a 100% catch rate, just like the Master Ball].

Now, once you're in Pal Park, there are a variety of terrains to search for pokemon: grass, mountains, plains, ocean, ponds, etc. The Pokemon you've migrated from the GBA Pokemon game will be found in the terrain that it corresponds to. For example, a Larvitar migrated from FireRed will most likely be found along the mountain terrain. Or a Psyduck you migrated from Sapphire will be found in the pond. Possibly a Staryu you migrated from Emerald will be found in the ocean. Whatever terrain makes sense for the Pokemon to belong in, is where they're most likely to be found. That's what I make out of it.

DragonEx answered:

To migrate Pokemon, you must have 6 Pokemon in your PC on the GBA versions (FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire)

Since you unlocked it, you start migrating on the Main Menu where you choose New Game, Continue, and such.

If you have a GBA version in your GBA port of your DS it should say: "Migrate from [whatever vesion you have in the port]" Choose that and go ahead and get the 6 Pokemon you want, head to Pal Park, and Capture to your hearts content.

By the way, it's once per day thing.

sapphire11 answered:

First you have to put another game in the GBA port

gamedude153 answered:

You have to have a Pokemon GBA game in the GBA slot. Then start up the game. Then there should be an option at the menu were it says migrate from the Pokemon game in the GBA slot. Then just pick six Pokemon to migrate.

jirachi master answered:

You might need to have more than 6 Pokemon in your GBA game.

megapokedude answered:

You need to have diamond in the ds slot and the game which you want to migrate from in the gba slot and pick six Pokemon to migrate if the Pokemon knows an HM it cannot migrate you can only migrate once a day

Chris1012 answered:

You have to have a gba(gameboy advance) game in as in fire red, leaf green, sapphire or ruby.

Prof. Pigskins answered:

Insert a Pokemon gba game and on the beginning screen of diamond/pearl, it will say migrate. Press it and you can transfer pokemon.
