(2)what about a code breaker?

I have both an action replay and a code breaker. Anyway yes, there is always a possibility that you will lose your data of a game. Happened twice to me. But it rarely happens

I used codes for my heartgold a hundreds of times it did not delete my file whatsoever. Probably just my luck.
