1. For Azelf and Uxie, get their health in the red zone. Or as low as you can, hopefully having a Pokemon that knows false swipe. Then, paralyze them or put them to sleep. Once this is done, just start throwing dusk balls, since you're in a cave.
For Mesprit, I'd reccomend having at least a level 40 Haunter, or Gengar if possible. Have his moveset contain Mean Look, Hypnosis, [ghost move], [dark move].
-Save your game!
-Make sure it is night.
-Get in battle with Mesprit.
-Use Mean Look right away, no hesitation.
-Use the ghost move.
-If Mesprit's health is the yellow/orange zone, use the dark move. If it's in the red zone, follow the next step. If Mesprit faints, turn off the DS [that is, if it's that necessary to catch him].
-When Mesprit's health is in the red zone, use Hypnosis.
-Start throwing dusk balls at him.
-If you don't catch him and he wakes up, use hypnosis again, and start using dusk balls at him again.
- Follow the above statement until you do catch him.
*Note* Mesprit is a little annoying to catch, but this method with these circumstances will make it easier.
2. Just a note that the directions I'm going to give to you will help you get through Victory Road, not inspect every corner of the place. These instructions are basic, although if you do go off exploring, you'll come across a rare item and a dead end with it, so you're going to have to turn back, anyway. Moving along...
-From the start, go up the bridge and then east.
-Go north up the bridge you end up at, and go up the stairs.
-Go south, and move the far-right boulder down. Then, push the boulder next to it to the left. And then just push the remaining boulder down.
-From here, push the left-most boulder down once. Then, use rock smash on the smashable rock, and just push that same boulder back up, and move on.
-Follow the path until you see another "puzzle", battling an old man along the way. Just push the top-most boulder to the left once, and go north and down the stairs.
-Cross the bridge and use rock climb on the wall at the first opportunity you see. DO NOT GO DOWN THE LEDGES, OR YOU'LL HAVE TO START OVER.
-Follow the path and beat the black belt, and go down the stairs you end up at.
-Surf north of the Psychic, use waterfall, and follow the path that leads to a trainer. Keep following the path after you beat him, and go up the stairs.
-Head west past the old man, and then go south and up the stairs and across the bridge.
-Exit the cave, and go up the waterfall, and you're at the official Pokemon League... Place.
If you go off exploring in Victory Road, you'll obtain rare items.
Sorry I can't specify, but I've already obtained the items and I can't tell you what's already gone. I've also beaten all the trainers, so that's why I said "a trainer" a few times. The black belt, psychic, and old man are the trainers I could specify, though?
I'm 100% sure that a rare candy and max revive are in the cave, though, so it's worth exploring. I'm sure there's at least a max ether, too, and a few strong TM's. Just backtrack and continue from where you left off.
For the legendaries, go to the three lakes where you fought people from Galactic and they will all be in there. Uxie is at Lake Acuity near Snowpoint, Azelf is at Lake Valor near Pastoria and Mesprit(for the time being) is at Lake Verity near Twinleaf but when you try to fight it runs. You need an poketch app from someone in the company building in Jubilife. For Victory Road, you need someone with Strength, Rock Climb, Rock Smash, Surf, and Waterfall
