2. Yes, you get 2 other eggs in-game, 3 if you trade the Manaphy Egg from Pokemon Ranger... You get the Happiny Egg from a traveling man in Hearthome City, and a Riolu Egg from Riley in Iron Mountain.

1.The Underground. Remember the Underground Kit you got, all the way back in Eterna City? Well, now, that's where it comes in! Use it anywhere, except in a building(you wouldn't want someone digging a hole in YOUR house, would you?), and you will go, well, underground. After you've been in there for a bit, you'll see little yellow marks on the top screen. Go over to them, and then tap around the area you are in, until you find a glowing mark. Go over to it, press A, and it'll have you dig for stuff. Next tap around the screen and you will find various items. Fossils appear very rarely, so, if you want a good one, it's best to search for your first fossil as soon as you can, and since it'll be revived at level twenty, it should be around the level of your Pokemon anyways.

2.Nope, no one else gives free eggs.

You can find fossils in the Underground. You revive them at the Oreburg museum. You could also use the Ar to to get them. The only other egg is the bad egg. It's a glitch and it never hatches. The only thing it's good for is the pokerus.

You can get them from underground when looking for spheres and all that stuff. XD but can anyone tell me where to find the guy who takes fossils? =)

To get fossils go to eterna city or town and look for the underground mans house go inside a person will give you a explorer kit go outside and use it to go underground in the underground you could excavate for fossils

Other eggs some people give them to you like the happiny egg and riolu egg

You get fossils from the Underground. You have to dig them up, then bring them to the Oreburgh Museum to revive them and get Cranidos or Shieldon.

If you mean freebie eggs, there is one at Iron Island that you can get to from Canalave City! It's a (I'm not sure though) legendary Pokemon egg. No, not Manaphy. It's Riolu! It'll evolve into Lucario when you level it up, have maximum friendship, and it has to be daytime when you level up.

1.No, you can not get eggs any other way except for breeding or receving an egg from a trade or an NPC in game, which are a happiny egg at the town were you can enter contests(sorry, forgot the name) and a riolu egg at iron island.
