Question for Pokemon Diamond
Can togepi have eggs because i've put one in a daycare 5 days ago and it just won't have an egg with my ditto. Do the Pokemon have to like eachother of something?

Are you certain it was 5 days ago? Because any Pokemon, besides any legendaries besides Manaphy, can breed. I guess it takes a while for Togepi to have an egg...

They do you have to like eachother, it all depends on their nature's, some can have eggs and some can't, and If you talk to the guy outside of the Pokemon day care and he says "they seem to get along" or something like that then they'll have an egg, if he says " the two prefer to play with other Pokemon than eachother" then they won't have an egg.

Did you check the relationship thing with the Man? They may hate each other, and if you put Togepi in, you need to put Togetic in because I'm pretty sure a Togepi can't make a baby of itself, a baby.

Any Pokemon, besides legendaries [besides Manaphy], can breed with Ditto, whether they like eachother or not. Trust me, it's happened to me many times before...
They can still breed if they don't like eachother. Just if they do, an egg will appear faster. Maybe that's why it's taking a while for Togepi to breed with your Ditto?

I'm sure Togepi can have eggs you just have to keep walking because also depends on how many steps you take as well. I am glad to help.
