At the end of route 224, past the second door by the end of victory road, after you get paired up with someone they say that they are going to go to an ancient ruin to see if they can see an ancient Pokemon or soemthing like that, I was wondering what that shiny rock or ancient ruin is there for and if a Pokemon is supposed to show and when does it?

You're probably not going to like the answer to this question...
A Pokemon doesn't appear there, but a route extends that rock that leads to a lv. 30 Shaymin. As you probably know, he's an event Pokemon, that requires the "Oak's Letter". When you have that item, only obtained from a Nintendo Event, that white rock should be an extended route that, like I said, leads to a flower field and Shaymin in it.
You can also cheat, if you want, too... But other than Shaymin, that whole entire route is useless.
