Question for Pokemon Diamond
Do the Pokemon that appear via inserting previous games only appear after the Elite Four? Because Gengar is not showing up for me. -.-

Yeah, he isn't for me, either... But yes, you do need to beat the E4 first, and obtain the national dex.

Gengar is in the Sinnoh Dex. Fantina in Hearthome has a Gengar.
