It should just sense your IP # if you have wireless internet. If you don't, find a place that does an' get online. If you don't have any wireless connection points, it doesn't work.

Broadband.... I have read Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will use the wireless connection of Broadband to work - also you can go to a place that has wireless broadband, some Fast Food Resturants could have it, But best you talk to your parents on getting wireless Broadband.
