What are the three starters you start out with or do they give you a choise..

There will probably be three new ones, and you will only have chance to obtain those by trading with prievious games.

Every Island, whether it is Kanto, Johto, or the Hoenn island, they all start with different starter pkmn. But what I can tell you is the first three pokemn will be Grass type, the next 3 will be Fire, and the third starter pkmn will be Water type.

They will have a complete new line-up, you don't get to choose from Charmander,Squirtle,Bulbasaur,Pikachu,Totidile,Cyndaquil,Chikorita,Torchic, Mudkip,or Treecko

I can't remember the names but I can discribe them.
Grass: It's like a green turtle.
Fire: Basiclly it's a fire monkey.
Water: The name is Poochama. A penguin.

Pocchama: The Water Type Pokemon - Looks like a Penguin

Turtwig a grass Pokemon and chimchar a fire Pokemon, and piplup a water pokemon.
