How do you get to Sunyshore City on Pokemon Diamond,I've been trying for weeks and I need to beat gym leader number eight.

Idk if you've gotten it by now, but what you need to do is beat the 7th gym, then catch dialga/ palkia. Do the events inbetween, then you'll see the fat guy get out of your way. Then to find the gym leader I think you must go to the lighthouse. It's a pretty easy battle if you have well trained pokemon
