It is not true. You can't go into other regions. But you can bring Pokemon from other regions onto this game if you have Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald in your GBA slot and then you can migrate six Pokemon per day from each game.

Is not true. If you want other Pokemon from differnt regions, migrate from eairlier games.

In both Diamond and Pearl, you cannot enter any of the other regions. But if you want Pokemon found in those regions, you could use the Pal Park to migrate Pokemon from earlier games to Diamond/Pearl.
