How long do you have to wait to get two Pokemon to breed with each other. And if I would breed my Shiny Ponyta with a regular Ponyta will it be shiny or not.

It depends on how much they like each other. The Day-care man outside the Day-care will tell you how much they like each other. He will say:
The two prefer to play with the other pokemon
Means: No chance
They don't seem to like each other much
Means: Not very likely
They seem to get along
Means: Likely
They're very friendly
Means: Very likely
The more likely the faster they'll breed. And breeding shiny's is hard. There is a VERY small chance that the child will be shiny, even if both parents are shiny. So don't count on it.
Good Luck!
It doesn't take that long. What I do is put the two pokes in the center. Then get on my bike, go to the far right side of the little yellow path and then go up and down as far as you can go. You know when the egg is there because the old man outside the Day Care Center will be facing to the right, (his left).
There is like a 1 in a 1000000000 chance it is going to be a shiny. But good luck.
