How do you get to Route 224? (next to the Pokemon League)

Well, to get to Route 224, you must first have the National Pokedex. Next, there is an opening to Route 224, mostly near the end of Victory Road, you must then go through the opening. Next you most successfully battle your way out. I would advise you to have Pokemon with the moves; Defog, Strength, Rock Smash and maybe Rock Climb.

You must first beat the Elite Four. Then near the exit there will be a guy in green standing next to a doorway. Go through there and get through the new section of Victory Road. Once you get through you should arive in the new area. But there is no point to go there as you need Oak's Letter. It is a Nintendo Event item that you can't get. If you get it by AR it still won't work though. But if you do get a letter that works it will let you catch Shaymin.
