Is there a such thing as a red gyrados in the game and if so where do I go to catch it

Well if you played G/S/C then you would of known that it is only a shiny gyrados so you would have to catch a shiny magikarp and evolve it or catch a shiny gyrados.

It's a shiny pokemon. Shiny Pokemon are diferent coloured Pokemon, like a yellow arbok or a green golbat. These Pokemon are extremely rare, so, if you want one, you'd better start hatching magikarp

The Red Gyrados is the shiny version of a Gyrados. Low chance to catch it though.

It's the shiny version of gyrados there is about 1 in 100,000 chance of seeing any sort of shiny Pokemon on the game

Its not that it's really red it's just an item you put on it. I know this cause I caught a gyrados and put some item on it on gold version.

Of course it's a shiny Pokemon you should be able to get it by spending hours looking for a magicarp or gyrados that is shiny or you can us the ds action reply
