What are EVs?
Hello all. Thank you to all who answered my question on the location of Dark Pulse.
Could someone please tell me what EVs are? Are they just shorthand for Eevee?

..EV's or Effort Values are what help boost your strength of a pokemons stats. Like if you have a 31 IV attack Rayquaza and 252 EV's at Lv 100 with an Attack raising nature, his attack will be 438. The highest possible for a Rayquaza. Now if you don't have those EV's, then his stats wont be as high. For each Stat Point, it takes 4 EV's to go up for that certain stat only. Like 4 poochyena to gain 1 stat point for attack, or 4 Salamence for 4 stat points in attack. Thats what EV's are. They are points that boost strength of your pokemon.

Ev means effort value see when you beat a Pokemon and level up you gain ev points and they boost your stats.
