My Diamond keeps freezing and I don't know why

Every time I get to the part where you battle Starly for the first time with your new Pokemon it freezes everytime I ko him. I don't know why this is happening. I don't have any codes on or anything that would cause this. I have to keep resetting and it happens everytime. Please somebody help me.

That is strange, wonder why thats happening? Where did you buy your Pokemon Diamond game from? If you bought it from a place such as Gamestop, or some place like EB games then the game you bought might have been a used version. If it was a used version of Pokemon Diamond then that means that the previous owner of the game is to blame for the game's condition. If it is not a used version and is a brand new version that you recently bought, then go back to the store where you bought the game and try to get either a refund of your money, or a swap out with another game. You could also try cleaning out the cartridge or your Nintendo DS, and get rid of any dust or dirt that you see.

Hope this helps.

You might either a)start a new game, or b)buy a new game.

You can try buying a new game also check if it is chipped on the bottom

It's probably just faulty, that happens sometimes.if you bought it used then thats the problem.try cleaning it,or make a new game or sell it and buy a new one in a case,in it's shrink wrap.
