How do you make the red Gyarados kill you in Pokemon Diamond?

Well, a red Gyrados is actually known as a shiny Gyrados so the only way you can get one is if you go to an area that has Gyrados and then you just keep looking around until you find one and either die from it or whatever you choose and go on. By the way, whatever that person said is all a lie.

PS: A shiny Pokemon is like a 1 in a million chance, unless you've used an Action Replay. I have a shiny Geodude (I got really lucky!) and a shiny Arceus (Used a friend's Action Replay).

Oh geez...the person that told you that is totally wrong. The orange circle on the map just shows the last 3 areas of the map that you've been. And the only way to get a red Gyarados is trading, hacking, and finding it in the wild.

Well, the dot on the map is where you have previously been. Also I've never seen a red Gyarados in my game, even when I I'm past the part where you get Shaymin.

Ah, well you see, the person that you heard that from...isn't really a reliable source right now. There is no red Gyarados in Pokemon Diamond, or Pokemon Pearl. The only time you can find a red Gyarados is in Pokemon Gold, Pokemon silver, and Pokemon Crystal. So sorry, but no red Gyarados :(

You can find a shiny Gyarados by trading someone who has a shiny Gyarados and is willing to trade with you. Or you could use the Action Replay cheat device, or hope that you catch a shiny Gyarados with your fishing rod.

Also, out of curiosity...why would you want the Gyarados to kill you?

Ehehe. Sorry but your friend is a LIAR! There is no red Gyarados that kills you. Only one one on tv. If your looking for one in the wild, you have to be real lucky. Or use the action replay. (p.s. USE THE ACTION REPLAY!!!)

I don't think the kid is right the orange dots are the last places you have been.If there was a Red Gyrados it wouldn't kill you.

I agree with all the others, a red gyarados is just a shiny gyarados. Plus, you do not want to get killed by it, encountering one without an action replay is a once-in-a-lifetime chance! Simply getting killed by one is is like throwing that amazing luck out the window or down the toilet. Sorry. :A(oO This time I made a sad snowman.

The person who told you was a liar. Red Gyrados is a shiny Pokemon and is real rare. It is 1/8216 of a life time chance. The dots on the map are the last places you hae been. I have a shiny Geodude and a shiny Golbat (no cheats!). DO NOT GET BEAT UP BY A SHINY POKEMON!!!!!!!!

The red dot on the map just means that thats the last place youv been to so the red dot thing dosnt actually work but you can still get a red gyrados in pokemon pearl diamond and platinum.The way you do it is to find a place with dratini.catch TWO dratinis and surf around that place a little bit,if your luky youll find a shiny red gyrados!!If this does not work use your action replay.If you dnt HAVE an action replay get pokemon gold,silver,crystal,heart gold, or get soulsilver i alredy have THREE red gyradoses.I hope this works for you!

i found a red gyarados in one of the mount corronet ponds.(no action replay) i swear! btw u have to fish for it with a super rod.

I serously thinck that thereisone I have tried for 1 days now and never see one but I saw on a web site that if you fainted a garados 20 times one would show in a sparkiling water but you have to only see grados if you see any other Pokemon you have to start at 1 again and I would recoment the beach at the resort area if you wanna try

It is possible to get a red gyarados. I have diamond and I was fishing to lvl an electric Pokemon and I just pulled one out of the water. Patience my friend and good luck fishing

You can find red gyarados because I was fishing outside the Pokemon league and I found a lv 54 red gyarados. So you don't need to do anything special to get it

Sorry,I have beaten my game.(100% national and everything.) I have never seen a red gyrados ever.
But in gold and silver you can catch him.

I have a shiny gyarados, when I caught it I thought my screen had gone funny like my brothers ds, but after I saw another gyarados and thought "WHOOPIEEEEEE". It in no way kills people just hangs around looking cool

I do not think you can catch a shiny Pokemon in this game cause the guide never said that I looked in the guide the best guide sorry I do not remember the name it tells about it and I found nothing about catching shiny poke unless they were keeping it a secret untill you have seen one but till then I'm not so schycked that there are shiny poke in this game but when I do I will ever search for a shiny arodactle fossil and shiny kabuto fossil PS.if I do find a shiny kabuto or airodactle fossil (dome fossil/old ember) I will never trade even if I found out how oh wait I already know lol
