You do not understand. You cannot enter event codes, or any type of code into Pokemon Diamond itself. In order to enter the event codes, and use the codes, you have to have an Action Replay DS. Then, you can enter any and all the codes that you want to, and have fun.

If your talking about in the action replay,then you should know that by now but if for non-hacking purposes then no.you must get events through mystery gift.
