Interesting question, but I do know the answer. Just a note to those who don't know the answer for a fact: Don't bother answering...

When Ditto uses Transform, it will turn into the exact Pokemon as your opponent, with 5 PP of each of their moves. It will have the same stats, same HP, and indeed the same type [shiny/not shiny]. So if your opponent's Pokemon is shiny, then the result of Ditto using Transform will be shiny. If not, then Ditto will be normal.

Wow, that is an interesting question. One that I do not know the answer to, but will try to answer it. I think that if it is fighting against a normal Pokemon, not a shiny one, then it will look like a regular pokemon.

Resaiden answered:

Yes it will.

PhilXZ answered:

It probably won't be

halo56 answered:

Lol I don't know I think it'll stay shiny if it don't well just save b4 you bbattle & use transform that way you can reset your game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!plz rate this answer!!!!!!!!!!!!HALO56 out!!!!

antiscoolio27 answered:

Thats a good question. I think it will be normal because it is supposed to look like an exact clone of that pokemon. Also why are you asking this question? If you have a shiny ditto then just try it yourself. If you don't have a shiny ditto then the answer for this question wont help you at all. Because it will definetley be shiny after the battle.
