How do I get a spot sample for the G.R.O on the DS?

So others have asked but no one has answered. The only walkthrough available is on the wii but usually if the game you want is on their hand held, then the stationary consoles have different controls and different story lines from the others. If someone could tell me if the wii walkthrough is good for this or how the samples work it would be greatly appreciated. (Btw the petri dish card hasn't been doing me any good so I need more information. Also there was a review posted in this particular handheld game so I will not accept someone calling me a liar, YouTube has proof.)
