On Agility training when the teeter totter is facing like this symbol (/) how do I make my dog stop so I don't gain any fault points?

You have to tap your dog to stop. Then wait till the teeter totter is touching the ground then your can get off and finish the contest but you should pratice first. Then your dog will do it bye it's self. Hoped i helped bye!
