How do you inflict damage on lemu. I have fought him a few times but can't figure this out...

Whenever fighting Le Mu, you have hit the center with the inscription on it. Do that until time pauses, then attack like crazy and try do dodge every attack whenever possible. Using the Tribe King Wave Access Card will help out faster. Once in the second phase, only attack when the core is yellow. That is the only way to deal damage. Hope this helps you out.
The best way is to use few chips in the beginning of the fight. Use mainly a strong charge shot until the seal breaks. That way you can use your chips to actually do damage to him. Hope I helped =)
