How do you get SP Navi Chips

I beat the auto navis outside the liberation areas. I.e magnetman-oran area, at S class but I only got a V1 chip

You need to defeat the V3 versions of these navis in specific areas.

The only ones I know are Magnetman in the ACDC 1 area (the first square after you leave Lan's PC) and Gyroman in one of the Dead ends in Oran Area 1

You also have to S rank those navis to get the SP chip. Meddy is in End Area 4, across from the purple skull door and ride the right arrow panel and go up. Serchman is in End Area 3, sorry but I don;t remember, Protoman in Undernet 3, past the program dealer, and Cosmoman is in Undernet 4. All the rest of the Darloids are in their liberated mission areas.
