Yes you do whomever that is you are telling a lie they do join you
First you must beat he main story and onnce you are back in frost town you will see a green sign you must beat all the green signs in the game and once you do you must go to bliz land and bowser jr and metal sonic will join you. To bowser and eggman you must beat them again with bowser jr and metal sonic and the. They will join you too. Hope this helped
