Question for Lost in Blue 3

Help!
Everytime I ask James or Eric to do something, like collect things, make stuff or build objects,
They say, "I don't feel like it."
I need help! They won't do anything and I have to do everything.
I ask them 'What's new' but they still won't help me :C

That happend to me to you just need to fill them with food and give them water then they have to have energy too.
