Ok, first, make a large trap. If you don't know how, get a stick and vine. Once that is done, explore and one day if you find a goat, walk as close as you can without scaring it away. Then use the trap, and wait for the goat to get trapped. It can be pretty hard, depending on where the goat walks. For the ship, go inside and walk into the rooms. In the room to the far right, my character said something about the boat being called "the gray prince" but so far, that's all I got.
Did you already opened the swamp?
If you don't you have to take james with you to the jungle and take him to a big rock. He will break it and you can go across, but you first have to push another rock with someone else and jump over it to go to the swamp.
Be sure you've got enough food and water with you because the swamp isn't long but you can't run in the swamp.
The upper exit is the most important because you find a deer, and you can build a raft there. Then go with the raft to the waterfall and walk until you don't see yourself anymore(cause you're behind the waterfall)then push the "up" button and if you did anything good you come into the bat cave.
