Hachi is a Raccoon dog demon that is close to Miroku. After you return to the Feudal Era after taking the mid terms, return to Kaedae's (forgive spelling) village. Ater learning that there's no new information about Datura, Miroku will suggest going north to seek out information. Instead of walking, he'll suggest flying and mention something about Hachi, where after you'll see a clip of the raccoon dog walking out of the village in the direction of the bone eater's well. Return to the well area and look for a dead end to the right of entrance of the well area, where the tree stump is. Hachi should be there, and, after a little "convincing" from dear Miroku, Hachi will fly you around anywhere for one hundered MON. Good Luck!!!
