You need to give him treats and pat him to get his confidence up!!
You need t feed him the sugar, carrots, and apples. Not too much or your foul will go ill. For me it works about 2-3 sweets max and then no more sweets. You also can caress him by in the home area of the foals stable, click the hand and horse. There you can pet the horse and then give him a carrot. Try to give your foal full ATTENTION best results. For example if you want to do something, do it and then come strait back and repeat what you just did like cleaning stables, washing the foal, or stuff like that but it is really important not to over do it. Your foal loves attention but it can't have to much sweets.
