I can't seem to solve the puzzle in the wheel room, disabling the oil flow to the aft funnel

TO SSSSSSSSSSSSSOLVE THE PUZZLE YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS 1: DOWN THE RIGHT HAND SIDE PUSH THE BOTTOM BUTTON AND THE 2ND FROM TOP THEN ACROSS TO RIGHT HAND SIDE PUSH THE TOP ONE THIS WIL TURN OOF THE OIL FLOW AND LEAD YOU TO THE FIND THE KEYS GAME THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE KEY TO THE CAPTAIN'S SITTING ROOM . GOOD LUCK!

GAAAAA! I FOR GOT TO TELL THE 2ND THING YOU CAN DO TO SOLVE THIS PUZZLE AND THAT IS TO OPEN THE LEFT HAND SIDE WINDOE TAP ON THE WHITE AND RED ROUND LIFE FLOAT THAT IS YOUR SOLVE BUTTON
