Please help! I have got a male and female in a cage to start out and then when I go to save the game they keep on moving cages has anyone else had the same problem? We can maybe sort it out!

They don't stay together, if they did, then they wouldn't have enough room. They don't have to live together forever to have a baby, just keep letting them visit.
