2. You can buy blue, red and purple stars on the computer. There are also green stars, which you can also buy but you can get green stars for free by creating a popular flipnote or channel or by being a flipnote Citizen (please note that you have to be a flipnote Citizen to create channels, also flipnote Citizens are creators that have been posting flipnotes on to hatena for over 30 days total, not in a row).

3. Try to be creative when you are making new colours, but I'll list down some examples: (L1= layer 1, L2= layer 2)
Brown: L1, black, L2, red.
L1 PAINT: no.6 and L2 PAINT: no.2

Purple, is the same as brown but L1 is blue and L2 is still red.


4. you can add any music/sound (from anywhere- even with youtube!) by "pressing" the button to the RIGHT of another button on the top which looks like a camera, then, while the music is playing, press the music(with a red circle) underneath it (or the record button), it should record music while the the music is playing. Then once it stops recording, play your flipnote and their should be sound with it too.

to make purple you need to get red drawing then draw what you want to make purple then use blue paint tool to cover it up.

I'm answering your question about how to upload them on YouTube. You download Realplayer, then I think there's an option so that you can download any video online and save it to your computer. When you have selected that option, go to the Flipnote Hatena on your computer and go to the Flipnote you want and you will see a button which reads "Download this video". Click it and it will ask you what kind of file to save it as. Save it as .wmv. Then upload it to YouTube! I hope this helped.
