Ok I have 2 questions. 1: how do you get montblanc? I have all the scion things that you need, but I haven't gotten the quest yet. 2: Why do my characters keep failing at simple quests like Wanted: sidekick and Wanted: assistant? I must've sent out like 5 people for those quests each time and each one failed? Can anyone answer my question???

Idk how to get montblanc.
But the reason you are failing those side quest is because you are not assigning the right race with the right job. Side quest call for specific jobs to complete them.

Fpr wanted: assistant you need to dispatch a alchemist and for wanted: sidekick you need to deploy you should deploy a ranger. That should give you a success on those particular quests

Ok so to get montblanc you must either first complete the camoa, grazton, moorabella, flourgis cups and then complete the wanted: friends, kupo! All which are sub quests
Or complete the first step, the next step, a step further, the last step and then wanted: friends, kupo! All which are again subquests

Either way will get you montblanc but he wont sho up till the second half of the game
