Beating ILLUA

Which fight with Illua are you talking about? (Where/What # story quest)

If it is the 1st time she should be I think lv.37.I got her at lv. 35 with 35 hero charater Paladin, 37 Adelle Ninja with Duel weild, 34 Cid Gladiator with Ultima Blade, 32 Viera Sniper with master in elementest, and a 30 something Time mage and sage. Take out the Ninja guy first. (if you haven't done the quest where a moogle says he bought a 20,000 gil hammer, then do it now... You get a item that disables Iliua's spell that takes your judge away!nice) don't worry about her other teamates exept for the healer. She should have about 300+ hp.
2nd time she is lv.47. Use same tatics as before execpt there is no ninja. She has 400+ hp.When you beat her again, she teleports you with her to Zellea, The Forbiddined Land.(Forgot,when you beat her first time, you get teleported here and have to fight a giant hand coming out of a portal.Use the purpal switchs and activate the mage cannon to win. Takes about 6 to 8 times to kill it)when you are in forbinned land, she leaves and you can either: go back to the real world and lv. Up(very highly recommenedd and get to lv.54 or so) or go after her.(you get to save before the 3rd battle.) The 3rd time she is a even Lv.50 and knows 2 new moves. One is called rebirth and restores ALL of her health. The other gives the entire battle party a few status problems. Be ready with Remendies and Refreash spells(white magick.) she has 584hp. Then you will fight the final boss,who I will not tell you how. Just get rid of the hand.(you will see why after you do!) I hope this helped!

I just beat her. all my people where level 65 or so at the time so it was easy!

illua- first time make sure addele has duel weild and that she is a ninja, 2nd time she is level 50 make sure you have a gladiator level 60 that knows ultima sword 32 use that on her from behind and then use something strong to finish her.

My strategy is Adelle Dual Wield level 99 everybody (was torture achieveing it) I would take Hurdy Adelle myself and a master monk with a Dragoon and a Defender and I would just slash like mad and end it with all my scions and then the ultimate combo attack of Flurry X4
With two Dual Wielding flurry it was other quickly since I let him regen out of being bored of it being so easy with Heritor moves and unlock Heritor and all skills before you even go to this fight it will be torture for you if don't still my style is just hacking away like mad with high freaking attack and skills
