After you give Cid the wheel of time he will turn your ship into an airship. Fly off the edge of the continent and you will be in the above world. Go to the shipwreck and go to the bottom of it. Give Aria a potion or hi potion and go south to the water temple. Get the crystal shard and go complete the cave of tides.
