Question for Final Fantasy III

I have recently given the onion knight job to ingus (was previously a warrior, he is level 20, job level 1. But when I had a rest it turns out that he has 10 lvl1 mp, 9 lvl2 mp, 7 lvl3 mp, 6 lvl4 mp, and so on, but I have read guides that say that onion knights are supposed to have no mp at all. Plz tel, me if this is normal or the best glitch ever! Using FF3 on iPad 2

It is normal. They are like red mages on steroids. So don't worry, it's not a glitch. But I recommend you train the onion knight nonstop, they are weak at the beginning. But if you reach job level 90 and up, they are unbeatable

Guest answered:

Onion Knights have incredibly low stats at low levels, they only get high stats after character level 93+ Even at job level 1 they're incredibly strong, so long as your character level is 93+. Your job level will NOT affect your stats, a list of what job level affects follows:
1. Number of hits when attacking.
2. Chance of executing a Critical Hit.
3. Physical damage.
4. Black Magic damage.
5. White Magic recovery.
6. Summon damage.
7. Attack Power of bare-handed Monks and Black Belts.
8. It also enhances the special abilities of certain Jobs.
