dig them up in the ground,but first you need to get the treasure hunt spell from mr.oakley the ground lights up werever the treasure is buried to get a spade you have to turn into a wizard and in the top right corner there is an icon with a wand on it keep touching that with your stylus until you get to a spade icon and dig in the place were the ground lit up and then you should have gotten some tresure it might not be a ruby but the most common place to find one is in the cave keep making yourself cast the spell so that you find the ground lighting up in different places. hope this helps!x

I think you can get them from the book-dudes if you give them bugs and fish- ive got lots of gems and stuff from them, i think ive been given a ruby before?
