Degeneration and level cap.

I just got this game for Christmas so I have basic questions:
1. How do I degenerate? The option isn't coming up for my digimon.

2. I have a Poyomon and want it to be either a crabmon or the one under it but it has stopped gaining levels at lv 10. What do I do?

Hey Firewall.


You degenerate by pressing start, selecting digimon, choose the digimon you want to degenerate, go to digivolution route, chose the level of which you want it to degenerate down to, and press X and choose degenerate. You have to either take the poyomon to the stage that it can reach, then degenerate back down to poyomon, then reevovle it to crabmon. Or a lot simpler way is just to go to Packet Swamp and get scan data. Trust me I have 999 scan data for him. ~LukeEx059

If the option isn't coming up, you need to go to Chrome mine and defeat Skullgreymon. Then Phil will give you a return chip.

i do know how to degenerated but when i use it, it reduce my digimon attack...??

it reduces it but when you digivolve it it gets stronger than it was originaly

You cannot degenarate untill you beat Devimon at the Chrome Mine.

liar because you can degenerate after you beat skullgreymon phil gives you a return chip

It's not devimon it's skullgreymon.

The only way to degenerate is to defeat skullgreymon and not devimon in chrome mine and then youl recieve a gift that allows you to degenerate

not true cause I beat skulgreymon and got the chip and I still cant degen so can someone please offer any real help

My garurumon have evolve to weregarurumon and I wanna evolve it to darkdramon. What lvl should I degenerate? After reach the max aptitude or I can degenerate it now??? Anyone pls answer.... T_T

The answer is simple when a digimon degerate and digivovles it's level cap increases, this just mean that with certain digimon you have to put more effort in but your lucky because I'm trying to digivovle war growlmon into gallantmon.
