Well first you have to reach Gold Tamer.

Then you can digivolve to Mega.

Or catch megas (but thats hard if your not Gold Tamer).

I am Platinum Tamer and I do not have a mega rope so how am I going to catch megas? (don't get me started on the one-rope-lower-and-damage-trap trick)
