I can not get past the black shadow monsters once I enter the lower level...

Question for Dementium 2

I can not get past the black shadow monsters once I enter the lower level. I have tried to sneak past them, shoot then. Hit them and it always sends me to an area where I kill four monsters then I am taken back to the beginning of the lower level. Can someone please tell me how to either kill or pass these monsters? It's driving me crazy

Your suppose to find a way to avoid them and go to another direction and keep on going until you find the next door.

They do follow you, so don't turn around. When you reach the second part, Turn right at the intersection and follow that little path. You should be at a big room. DO NOT TRY TO GO STRAIGHT THROUGH. There is an escape on the right side after the second jump. Now theres one more dark shadow thing gaurding a door. There's also some space for you to do a round-a-bout. Go through this door to reach the third section, which is pretty freakin easy.

Once you reach the lower level you can not go back till you have the relic, is a item that makes shadows go back. You have to go forward the game till you find the tree pieces of the relic, then you can go back to the upper level.
