You can't lift it. You jus need to examine it by zooming in. You have to zoom in at several differnt sections. With the PC version which I am playing, you have to go back to it at the end of rhe case and zoom in one more time to get the last piece of evidence. I don't knw if this is the same for the DS. Also, each time ou zoom in catherine will say something thatill help you in the case. Hope this helps
