How do you beat the fire bending boss at the jail? I've saved Katara and found Lian and I can't beat the boss with the flame stick everyone keeps dieing! Help ASAP

Hi dude I had the same problem what I did was get aang to hide behind a pole and sneak attack him but katara will work to it took me 10 trys to beat him hope this helps! From plant
