For example I had piplup as my starter and chimchar as my team mate anyway after you beat the game go to where you can change team mates and if you wanted chimchar as you instead of piplup click on chimchar and click something about be my partner I think I've done it I just lost my game so I can't remember anyway try to do that and if it works have fun playing with a new partner BYE!.
