Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding character which will be indicated by their mark appearing at the 'Kuchiyose' menu. Then select their mark and copy it onto the grid on the bottom screen using the stylus making sure to use the proper stroke order. Correctly drawing a character's mark will unlock a character even if their mark hasn't been acquired.
Unlock Deidara:
Complete Arcade mode as Itachi.
Unlock Fukusaku and Shima:
Complete Arcade mode as ALL characters.
Unlock Itachi:
Complete Story mode.
Unlock Jiraiya:
Complete Arcade mode as Naruto.
Unlock Jugo:
Complete Arcade mode as Karin.
Unlock Karin:
Complete Arcade mode as Suigetsu.
Unlock Konan:
Complete Arcade mode as Jiraiya.
Unlock Orochimaru:
Complete Arcade mode as Jugo.
Unlock Pain:
Complete Arcade mode as Konan.
Unlock Suigetsu:
Complete Arcade mode as Sasuke.
When you complete missions in Mission mode you will receive either 1, 2, or 3 marks on that character's Bingo grid. When a row, column, or diagonal has been completed a new jutsu will be unlocked for that character. A character's ability set can be edited after selecting the character in Battle, Arcade, or Mission mode.
