If you want a challenge then get the highest ranking for an activity and it's 'Hard' mode will become unlocked. Core games require an 'Advanced' 80% and the Sports games a 'Pro' 90%. It is also possible to access the 'Hard' modes by unlocking ALL the activities and earning Stamps.
