Question for Donkey Kong 64

In gloomy galleon when you go into the little room half-filled with water that has the two towersof coins; one for diddy and one for lanky, how do you get donkey his blueprint on diddy's coin thing. I'm having rouble because I have tried to get donkey up there, but he just can't reach up there. Please I need help i've already cleared seventy-five percent of the game but i'm just stuck here. Thanks!!! :-)

Get Diddy to complete the barrel at the top of the coin pile. This gives youa banana and opens up a #4 banana port. Find the corresponding banana port with Donkey Kong and use it to get up there.

Once you get Diddy to the top using the Diddy Pads (Z) and beat Stealthy Snoop in the Bonus Barrel to get his Golden Banana, the #4 Banana Port will appear. Use Donkey on the corresponding #4 Banana Port to get to his Kasplat, his Blueprint and his Golden Banana.
