Question for Banjo-Kazooie

Hi,
I just started with this game and I got in mumbo's mountain. I only need to get the last mumbo token and then I can go further. The last one is in the giant ants hill. But I don't get up. I use the chicken walk but when I'm at the thirth step, I slide away! I tried it on and on but I just don't get up....
How do I get up?

You can't get up there in Banjo form. If you've collected 5 Mumbo Tokens (and it seems you have) or have already paid five to him, Mumbo Jumbo, who takes up residence in the small village at the top of the hill, will turn you into a termite. Not only will you be able to ascend the spiral path in the termite mound, you'll find a Jiggy at the top of the mound as well. You can also scuttle up the monolith that makes up the entrance to Mumbo's Mountain in Gruntilda's Lair and grab the Jiggy on top if you've pressed the Witch Switch near Conga the ape.

To get there you have to talk to Mumbo. Once you have talked to him,you would then be transformed into an ant.This should make it easier.

You need to use the chicken legs and as soon as you get on the slope you have to jump and then just as soon as you get in the air aim for the totem and land on it

Just keep trying with the chicken legs and hope you get lucky...that's how I did it.
