Purchase Maps

Whenever you enter a new area in Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 the location will appear as a black void on both your minimap and your larger map. In order to fill in the details you will need to obtain the maps for each of the locations as you journey from your village to the Northern Plains and to The Aeerie.

Maps can be obtained as part of the story or side quest, or they can be purchased from the Item Shop where they are not expensive to buy. It is therefore recommended to save yourself navigational problems that you make sure that your first purchase when you reach a new town on your travels is to buy a map if you don't already have one.
